Salad dressing is going green! Not to match the lettuce, but to save the environment and our waistlines.  

I love to eat big wonderful salads in the restaurant. The salad dressing usually makes or breaks a salad.  When the dressings are so flavorful and fresh, it is hard not to love a big salad. Somehow when I get home, chop up lettuce, carrots, tomatoes etc and I pour on the store bought dressing, the salad is never that great. In fact, I rarely want to eat my own homemade salads.

Now, I make my own low calorie, flavorful and inexpensive dressing at home.

The container is marked with measuring lines so if you want to make one of the four recipes printed right on the container, you just add the ingredients in the order listed on the container, from bottom to top.  No measuring cups or spoons to get dirty.  Now comes the best part, the top of the jar is attached to a plunger which goes up and down and can twist from side to side. It mixes the oil and vinegar into perfect harmony.  You can then use the mixer to serve the salad dressing.
