Could You Get My Keys, My Nails Are Still Wet..... Not anymore!

I could barely wait to get home from the nail salon to blog about this. I am so excited about a new product that just came out by OPI. It is called OPI AXXIUM GEL SYSTEM. It is an amazing new technology for nails.

I have really bad nails, they break, they split, and the polish always chips. You name it, I have tried it, tips, acrylic, wraps, gel and of course every nail growth product ever put out on the market.... Nailtiques, Barrielle, Rejuvacote, Nail Envy, Sally and I even tried special vitamins to get my nails to grow.  Nothing has worked!!  Until now....

For the past few years, the big craze was a permanent french manicure with gel and UV lights. This is a great system, but really expensive, and requires a lot of maintenance.  Sure, it lasts two weeks, but then.... you need fills, new gel and all sorts of other things.  Then when you decide you you do not want the gel anymore, they have to come off. That means your nails are a mess underneath.

This new system is not expensive, it is not a big commitment and (drum roll) there is NO drying time. That is right, they put the gel color on, you put your hands in the UV light and you are done. You can get your keys out of your handbag yourself!  The manicure lasts 2 weeks!! That means you do not need to get a manicure for a big event the same day as the event, you can do it when it is convenient. The manicure will not chip or fade or peel off.  After two weeks, you soak for a few minutes and the gel is gone. You can choose to do it again, or leave your nails plain.  The gel totally protects your nails so that they can grow. It is all about the flexibility and choice!
