I consider myself an extremely organized person living in a disorganized person's body. I have really good intentions and schemes to organize just about everything from my medicine cabinet to my attic. Problem is, they are mostly just dreams.
The one area of my life that is pretty organized is my planner or my agenda book.
One thing I love more than anything is a fabulous date book or planner. I know it sounds a bit shallow, but I love to turn the pages, look at the week ahead, see the past week and make plans that I won't forget. I tried to do the new age electronic thing with a Blackberry and Palm. It just didn't feel right. I want to turn the pages, and I want to write things down, they seem more concrete.
I recently purchased the momAgenda Desktop Planner. This is so great for busy people who need to record playdates, soccer games, tennis matches, spa appointments, business meetings and anything else.
The momAgenda has weekly and monthly planner pages, plenty of room to record anything you want. What I really love is that you can see the week on two pages when it is open. The top section of the planner has an entire section that you can write down morning, noon and evening appoints for YOURSELF. The bottom half has space to plan for other members of the household. Now I never confuse getting a child to birthday party with a business meeting. Everything has it's own space.
The best part is that is looks awesome. The planners come in so many bright and lively colors. It is a beautiful book that I love to have out on my desk.
